Dabadum. January 21st. It was my dearest Mom's Bday

She told me before NOT to buy any cake. Bit of a confidence over there.. assuming that she'll got cakes from Banks.. well, can't blame her.
She usually got cakes sent from banks for her bday.
Usually, even those cakes were better than what i bought for her T.T

so.. not cake this year. I thought of a much better idea. a mug :)
Not simply a mug. a Magic Mug. One that looks like an ordinary black elegant mug at first, but, as it filled with hot water, the black color will fade and magicaly show..

so why mug? Because my mom always starts her day with a cup of coffee. And so, I hope every morning she'll always remember that we love her <3
Why quiniest? haha.. cause she's a queen. A very quiniest one :p

and.. UNFORTUNATELY! She didn't got any bank sent her cakes.. LOL!
She got a pack of parcel from igor though. still.. no cakes..
Well she got one when we ate at TheVinnette.. a small delicious one.
Couple Chocolate cake! damn. Another food from heaven!


And my big sis is in town. back from oz.

so we can actually celebrate my mom's bday. What's so funny is that we had the dinner just yesterday. WHY?
Because mom and dad were quarelling. silly -.-'

anyway and anyhow. I love Vinnette's dessert!!

Sometimes it's hard to since I'm a girl.
Tending to put heart matter first. Not wrong

But when things get like this.
got grumpy for no reason. that's when I should know.

Is it hormonal? might be...

Too damn much and so not appropriate to write here.

I'm Fanny and I'm fully satisfied with my life..
I'm glad I am Me.. There are several things that's not perfect in my life, but I'm happy with it
Lots of things that helped me grow.. mature more..
Lots of thigs used by God to mold me :D


This semester is going to end soon.. And see.. time really does fly.. It's like yesterday I was just finished my UNAS.. entering university..
and in 6 months I'll be leaving Indonesia..

And that's why I'm cutting off my hectic schedulle, I decided to stop teaching.. well, still got 2 kids here.. but I'll be fine :)
I'll try to take more rest, spend more time with friends, family, and hopefully helps people to grow more in Christ.. tralalala.. it's hapines!

Seems like I'm doing nothing.. yes I do.. Iddling today.. quite fun, I start finishing my last project.. Currently on 'Minggu Tenang' a week that should be used to finish projects and studying for the final exam, but well, since I were super busy on normal days, I used these 2 weeks to have a lots of fun with friends!

I even haven't had time to 'BANGKONG' everyday is fully schedulled :D out with friends.. from school, university, church, SG, besties, and KSM

Being busy that I like : creating and arranging events :)
Just before the peace week start, we start decorating :D
Creating a very simple christmas event at church where we had the photo corner area and swap christmas cards with others.. well, the aim is of course to make Elyouthers know more about others..


then a nice simple christmas party with the taciks and besties :)
we decorated GW's apartment nicely, and had this fun gift exchange..
a simple,cheap,and fun party :) tiring but of course super fun


then I went to batu, RAFTING with some elyouthers,having a culinary trip at Batu and Malang.. but, what's better than the rafting is the vacation it self..
The time spent playing board game BANG! and being inspired by theGirls :)


well, they talked A LOT about future husband.. a boyfriend criterias
haha.. I was being a good listener and learnt a lot from them.. at least I hope their conversation would help me with my lovelife someday :p

I do have my criteria and still wondering.
but i guess, right now isn't the right time to think about this kind of thing.. one project awaits. ILPC has been neglected and finalExam is coming

Well.. I'm not here for grumbling.. In fact.. just sharing a little eye opening experience..

If ones ever watch the movie slum dog milionaire..
They probably understand the term 'slum', in indonesian we acknowledge it as KUMUH

So yesterday elsatyouth did a Christmas trip. We packed lots of presents for unfortunate kids so that they could also experience the joy of christmas.. even if just a little..
We managed to wrap more than 400 bags completed with school's equipment and milks... :)
Thanks for everyone who participated.. bags.. money.. stationary..

And good job for those who helped packing up.. 400 bags
We worked like a factory ^^
since Friday from 17.00-23.30
and Saturday 9.00-12.00

but of course all the tiredness all paid. :)

The trip destination was to a slum under the DupakFreeWay bridge..
in short - Bawah Jembatan Tol Dupak
It's a realy dirty area.. stinky and full of trash..
I don't even know how can people live there..

So this area is appart from our Surabaya's land.. literally.. so that if you want to reach this place, you'll have to ride a 'getek' a small raft that attached to a rope tied crossing a river.. i don't know if there's a term for 'kali' in english.. bassically.. a super dirty,full of shit, garbage dump, waste water river..so you know it's stinky and black.. a man needs to pull the raft creeping the rope..

and on the other side.. another shocking place appear.. a living place.. community.. neighborhood.. under a bridge... people even have to bent down to enter the place.. let me say.. a tunnel.. and they use partition to part one's area to others.. so small.. so dirty.. so in human..
No bathroom.. well, they refer a bathroom to this part of the place right in the river bank.. where they can shit just right into the river.. take a bath there.. i saw people sleeping with cats..

hmm.. well.. I guess there are lots of unfortunate people out there.. but what's so mesmerizing about them is that they have the spirit!
